League Sequencing is the process of connecting up Leagues belonging to a specific Sport and Location. For businesses with at least two seasons-worth of Team and Roster Data, League Sequencing is a valuable way to compare League Composition season over season.

To create a League Sequence:

  1. Navigate to the “Sequences” header under the Leagues and Tournaments tab.
  2. Select the Sport for the sequence you wish to create. This display shows you every sequence you’ve created so far for that sport, as well as the option to create a new sequence for that sport.

3. Add the Leagues you wish to be in your sequence by clicking the “Add to Sequence” button next to any of your Unsequenced Leagues (at the bottom of the screen). Sequences can be sorted in two ways:

  • By season (ex. Fall Greenlake Dodgeball 2014, Winter Greenlake Dodgeball 2014, Spring Greenlake Dodgeball 2015, etc.)
  • By year (ex. Fall Greenlake Dodgeball 2014, Fall Greenlake Dodgeball 2015, Fall Greenlake Dodgeball 2016, etc.)

Note: if you copy the settings from a sequenced League when creating a new league, it will automatically be added to that League’s sequence. No need to go back in and add it!

Now that you’ve created a sequence you can track trends over time including: monitoring demand, growth, and missing teams.
