League Lab has two individual sign-up options:
Free Agents
- A Free Agent is a person who registers without a team, making themselves available for recruitment by team captains. If Free Agent registration is available for a league or tournament, captains can browse the Free Agent pool from their Team Management Panel, inviting any compatible prospects they find. Captains cannot see the contact information for the Free Agents, as the invitations are sent through the system. If a Free Agent accepts an invitation, they are removed from the pool, and will pay like any other team player.
Individuals (Indys)
- An Individual (or Indy) is a person who registers without a team, with the expectation that they will be placed onto a team by the league or tournament organizers. Individuals pay you directly for their registration and the team placement service. You can place Individuals on teams that are short players, or you can build teams made up entirely of Individuals (Indy Team).
If you don't want to take on the extra responsibility of finding teams for Individuals, you can allow players to register as Free Agents instead. If you'd rather be in control of placing lone players onto teams, you can enable Individual registration instead of Free Agents.
